I like the X-tra large beds for irish setters - especially males. Smaller females are comfortable on the large beds. The dachshunds fit easily onto a small but I usually get the medium or large so that multiple dachshunds or irish setter puppies can sleep together. Note: an irish setter puppy will try and fit into a small dachshund bed if given the chance!!
